What is Neoromance?Neoromance is a term coined by Koei for a series of love simulation games created by Ruby Party. It all began in 1994 when Angelique was released for the Super Nintendo console (called Super Famicon in Japan). Angelique was the first of its kind -- a love simulation adventure game targeted at young girls with a female main character and male partners. Now, there are many types of love sims for girls, both original and based on manga. Much of the appeal of the Neoromance franchise is the multitude of associate media, from drama CDs and character songs to manga and anime. The popular seiyuu (voice actors) cast in the Neoromance games have also developed a strong and loyal fan base for the series. This is well proven in the successful Neoromance events that run 3-4 times a year. Find out more about the Neoromance series and the cast below. |
