The Neoromance events started in 2000 to commemorate the beginning of the first Angelique OVA series. It was the first time any of the Neoromance series had been adapted for animation. As the franchise and cast members grew in size, so did the events. Now, they're held about 3-4 times per year, typically once per season. Most of the events are cross-series, but sometimes, Koei will put up a series-specific event, such as the Haruka Matsuri.

All the Neoromance events feature live performances by the seiyuu, live drama acts and talk corners. After the anime TV series started, there have also been live dubbing segments, as well as stage games. The Live Videos contain most of the footage from the Neoromance events though performances are usually edited to shorten the DVD.
